Cameron Long

I am a Fourth year Mechanical engineering student at the University of Virginia working on my BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in business at the McIntire school of Commerce.

In the past two summers I have held two different internships. This past summer I worked as a mechanical engineering intern on a thermal systems design team for Caterpillar Large Power Systems (LPSD). The previous summerI worked at 2RW an MEP Engineering Firm as a mechanical engineering intern working on mechanical system design for LEED certified construction.  

Most of my projects are associated with the Virginia Motorsports Formula SAE team. I am currently searving as the Chassis Team lead and Alumni commitee chair, with 8 memebers on my techinical subteam and 4 on my commitee! I have previously served as the Cooling Team Lead and Treasurer. I am passionate about quality engineering and thoughtful design, here you can find some projects I've worked on while at UVA!
