For my senior year I'm leading the design, analysis, and manufacturing of our FSAE team's steel tube chassis. The role requires cross-functional coordination with every other subteam to lock in packaging constraints and rules requirements, then owning the Structural Equivalency justification and running all manufacturing. I'm using Fusion 360 for quick iterative FEA to get directional feedback during design, and Ansys Structural for the more complete numerical validation. I have a team of eight other students on my subteam who own different components, and I'm the point of accountability from concept through final weld. It's a project I have full ownership of and I'm excited to see it come to fruition over the next several months!

I'm about three months in and already have the model below completed, along with my first design review completed, material ordered, and bend testing kicking off next week. Plenty more to add throughout the year.
